Hi Friends, this week we are going back to the regular hyperdoc that we have been doing all along. Make sure you are COMPLETELY done with the assessments, do those
5/28/2020
By now, the math assessment should be completed and ELA should be mostly done. ELA assessment is due TOMORROW
5/26/2020
Hi friends, just a reminder this week you will be completing the ELA diagnostic on iReady
**UPDATED 5/18/2020
Hello 4G families,
I have heard from other 4th grade teachers that some of their students are able to access the ELA diagnostic assessment on iReady tonight. So tomorrow, please have your student work on (not complete) the ELA assessment tomorrow, their special assignment and one of the "may do" assignments if they need work to do. Please reach out to me if your student can not access the ELA assessment. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
*reminder we have a google meets today :)
Hi friends, for those that did not come to my google meet today (which is totally fine!) you may work on the math diagnostic today. Or you may work on the may do menu on the hyperdoc and wait on the math assessment YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FINISH, you can work on it all week. I will let you know as soon as I know if you should do the math or ELA assessment tomorrow. Also the idea for the may do menu are for people that finish early for the assessments and have work to do after. Let me know if you have any more questions.
5/17/2020
Hello everyone, this week and the week after is going to be different. You will be taking the ELA and math assessments on iReady. The assignment and directions are on google classroom. Please reach out if you have any questions! Also I highly suggest you watch and listen to the slideshow first before you do anything. It talks and explains everything.

1. Log onto google classroom
2. Click on Mrs. Graham's class
3. You should be on "stream" which is indicated on the top of the screen. You should see a purple box with Mrs. Graham's name on it and 2019-2020
4. Under her name and 2019-2020, there will be a link and a code
5.Click on the link and enter the code
*hint: you can not log on until I log on so do not log on too early
If you are having trouble logging in, email me because I will be on my computer anyway :)
May the Fourth be with you! Happy May Fourth day!
Hi everyone, how are you doing? I hope everyone is doing well. I know sometimes things can be extra challenging during this time but do not forget about personal care. Make sure you are taking care of yourself physically and mentally. Try deep breathing exercises, those help me. Put your hand over your belly and feel your stomach move up and down. This is a mindful technique.
******IMPORTANT*******
I will now be offering "office hours" every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00-4:00 pm where I will be actively on my computer and I will be responding to emails from parents/guardians very quickly. I will also communicate quickly to the students using private comments on the hyperdoc. I will continue to answer emails and private comments everyday but during my office hours I will respond within just a few minutes.
Also I came across this video and I really liked it as a representation of germs and hand washing. It explains why we have to wash our hands for at least 20 seconds and they use glitter to represent germs. With your parents'/gaurdians' permission, check it out!

Hi everyone! Check out my flipgrid videos, its just me saying hi. I really liked Principal Maranto's idea of these;
trying to stay more connected through this challenging time. I will be creating new videos and I will will also be
making videos where I read a children's book. I will be posting these on my website which is

Nice Weather Weekend for the Weatherbee gals 3/21/2020
Hi everyone, throughout this week I have realized I need to set a routine for myself. I am sure some of you, including myself, have experienced the lazy days and now its beginning to become a habit. I have noticed that setting an alarm and getting dressed in the morning has made a huge difference. I feel like I have more energy and motivation to be productive throughout the day. Today, I went on a nice walk with my sister to a pond. Just thought I'd share my experience and share what has been helping me. I miss you all so much, take care and we will reunite soon.
**I just posted another Newsela and obviously I don't expect you to do it over the weekend
Just checking in 3/20/2020
Hello everyone, we made it 1 whole week. How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is taking this time to spend quality time with your family and loved ones. Are you bored yet? I saw on Epic! there are awesome activities and arts and crafts that you can do at home. I put my favorite ones in "my library" on the website, check it out! Click on "my library", then "collections and assignments", there will be the category "Activities/Arts&Crafts". There you can find "how to" videos for drawing, a book for yoga poses, baking ideas, DIYs and a video to teach you how to juggle! These are only a few. I have added so many more to this collection and it seems like a lot of fun :)
I see a few of you have done the Newsela, great job! I will be posting more of those.
**I have been thinking of all of you to the point where I have the Guacamole song from GoNoodle stuck in my head! haha! Maybe that is something that you can show people at home :) I know they have GoNoodle videos on Youtube.com if you don't have access to GoNoodle (get permission from an adult first).
Epic! website 3/18/2020
Hi families! I hope all are doing well. The website getepic.com has opened their website for free during this time. It is a website where students can read books, hear audio books and more! Check it out, students in the past have loved this website. I have sent everyone via email an invite to access it for free so check your emails and the code is rbp2886 . Let me know if you are able to access the free website or not. Please be patient with me, I'm also learning how to do online learning :)
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS 3/16/2020:
Hello, this is Ms. Weatherbee using Mrs. Graham's former website as another form of communication. I will communicate through this and you can always email me at [email protected]
Wow, what a stressful few days! Please know I am thinking of all of you and hoping everyone is safe and healthy. Practicing mindfulness and listing things I am grateful for has been very helpful. I plan on continuing this practice for the days and weeks to come. I want to let you know that I am here and will help support you in anyway I can especially academically. With this being said, the 4th grade team has put together the following to offer educational resources and opportunities for online learning. Please use as technology and time allows.
Below I have provided links for easy access to helpful resources. This includes links to the document of the learning ideas the 4th grade team created, the link for clever to access IXL and google classroom, information if you need to borrow a Chromebook and additional online resources.
